A History of Healing

The historic Edgehill building in the 1880s

The original structure was built by Peter Lauck and his wife Amelia. It would later serve as a nursing home and campus for Alderson-Broadus Women's College.

The New Life Center building
1979

The New Life Center, Inc. purchased the property, and it began its first incarnation as a treatment center for addiction.

The south addition to Edgehill
2005–2006

An addition was added to the south end, housing the meeting room, an atrium, and an office.

Edgehill, or 'The Hill' as it is affectionately known, continues to serve the recovery community in Winchester.
